Wale Olarinde has been in active clinical practice in otolaryngology (ear, nose & throat/head & neck surgery) practice since 1996 after qualifying in 1991. His practice is a general otolaryngology practice with a special interest in head and neck cancer. He is a core member of the North Trent Head and Neck Cancer Multidisciplinary Team and also the Thyroid cancer Multidisciplinary Team. He is a member of the court of examiners to the Royal College of Surgeons of England. His general otolaryngology practice involves providing a specialist service for patients with all forms of hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo and sino-nasal complaints. He also sees patients in special two week wait clinics for patients with suspected head and neck cancer including thyroid cancers. He is actively involved in the treatment of patients with various forms of head and neck cancer. He also provides specialist care for patients with injuries in the head, neck and facial regions. He has experience of authoring medical negligence reports, personal injury and noise induced hearing loss medico-legal reports. He is regularly instructed by both defendant and claimant solicitors.
