I am based in France and the UK. I have been an Expert Witness since 2009. I combine Expert Witness work with Case Management. Thus my clinical expertise and knowledge of the costs of care and case management remains current. Areas of expertise are: Costing care and case management for adults with complex catastrophic injuries including orthopaedic injuries, the whole spectrum of acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions such as Stroke, post encephalitis neurological damage, spinal injuries, etc. Costing care and case management for children with acquired brain injuries resulting in multiple physical and learning disabilities, complex medical conditions such as Erbs Palsy, Short Bowel Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, post Solid Organ Transplantation. Adult injuries have arisen from sporting, road and industrial accidents / medical or nursing negligence. In children these injuries have arisen for example, from birth injuries, post meningitis, traumatic injuries and medical negligence. I speak French and understand the French Health and Social Care system. I have provided Expert Witness opinion in relation to for both defendants and claimants resident in France as well as those in England and Wales. I have also provided Expert Witness opinion regarding a resident in India which included costing of repatriation to the UK. I have experience of providing case management to a range of adult and child clients in England and Wales, France, Switzerland, Gibraltar, Portugal, Poland and Spain. So I have insight into the Health and Social Care systems and the cost of care in these countries.
